𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙞-𝙁𝙞 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙡y



 

1. On Your Device

Windows

  • Open the Control Panel → Go to Network and Sharing Center.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network → Click Wireless Properties → Switch to the Security tab.
  • Check the box to Show Characters to view the password.

macOS

  • Open Keychain Access from Applications → Utilities.
  • Search for your Wi-Fi network name.
  • Double click the network and check Show Password (you might have to enter your Mac admin password).

Android

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
  • Tap the network or "Saved Networks" > select your network.
  • On Android 10 or later, you can even see, or share the password using a QR code.

iPhone

  • Open Settings > Wi-Fi.
  • Tap the listed connected network to view password-sharing options (you will have to share the password with another Apple device).


2. Router Configuration

  • Log in to your router with a web browser (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
  • Make use of admin credentials, found on the back of the router.
  • Go to Wireless Settings, where you find the password


3. Inquire from Network Administrator

  • When you are at work, at a hotel or public place ask the person who is responsible to provide you with the password


4. Saved Passwords on Account

  • If using Google account, or iCloud the passwords may have been synced to the account.
  • For Google: Visit passwords.google.com to view saved credentials.
  • For iCloud: Sync Keychain on all your devices.


5. Reset Your Router

  • If you could not access the password and have permission, reset the router
  • After resetting, configure a new password via the router admin panel.
